How long is each tutoring session?

Tutoring sessions range from 30 minutes-2 hours depending on the individual. Typically, sessions run for 1 hour.
How does the process work?

Step 1: Consultation Call; During the call, I will ask a series of questions and carry general conversation in an attempt to better understand the needs of your child. Also, please make sure and bring some questions with you as this is the perfect time to ask them. Step 2: If tutoring is deemed appropriate, a plan is created and options are presented to you, the parent. Step 3: The option you feel is best is selected and the initial session with me is scheduled.
How does payment work?

Payment is due at the time of the session. I accept Venmo, cash or checks.
What if my child has learning challenges, but isn't labeled special education?"

No problem! Many of my student’s parents have had significant push back from their school district in attempting to enroll their children in special education services. While battling to push through the red tape, these parents turn to outside resources including outside tutoring as a way for their child to receive much needed help.
What is your cancellation policy?

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you must cancel, please give at least 24 hours notice to honor the time I create in my schedule to work with your child.
What are group sessions and how do they work?

Group sessions are anywhere from 2-5 students who are studying the same content and need similar supports. Typically, these sessions are for executive functioning and organization skills classes!
How are your tutoring services different from what other companies offer?

My passion, attention and resources are directed toward helping children with special needs and their families. This singular purpose, sets me apart from all other online tutoring services currently available. Children with special needs often require individual assistance and resources to reach their academic goals and achieve great life-long success. All tutoring sessions are designed and taught in your child’s unique learning style.
